For the second show of Oral Fixation Season 4, Nan Kirkpatrick shares how she first began to realize that she is an alcoholic.

Nan Kirkpatrick is in two Dallas bands (Frauen and Little Beards), on a podcast called Secretly Timid, and the executive director of the Texas Equal Access Fund. When she isn’t working or jamming, she’s worrying about sinkholes.

Michael (Mico) Rodriguez, the founder of Mi Cocina, has been in the restaurant business since he was a 5 year-old water boy in 1962. His new restaurant Mesero opens at Inwood/Lovers in late May. Serving his guests is his first love. He is very proud of his daughter Bianca Elena.

Preston Dominy is an 18-year-old senior at New Tech High in Coppell. After graduating, he will be attending the Sam Walton School of Business at the University of Arkansas. Preston is an outdoors enthusiast who enjoys climbing as well as other forms of mountaineering.

Jeanne Henry has been a music therapist, photography professor, arts director and museum educator. She’s been onstage many times-from piano recitals to school plays, a musician at Six Flags, to singing with the Dallas Symphony Orchestra Chorus at Carnegie Hall. But she’s never gone onstage and told the truth. Until now.

Tim York, a Dallas area native and independent contractor, builds and remodels interiors. He studies and plays guitar and had a brief professional career in his twenties as a singer/songwriter. He writes stories and composes music because it pleases him. He believes literature elevates living to a level of consciousness.

Victoria Watson is a graphic designer and social media coordinator for one of the world’s largest elevator companies. When she isn’t training for her next marathon, drawing portraits for the State Fair, or singing karaoke, she enjoys spending time with her fiancé and walking her rescue chihuahuas, Pancho and Reese.
